Our Gorgeous baby girl is just about 4 months old now. She has become extremely aware of her surroundings, as well as the people within them. She gets very interested in color contrasts, such as in books, the t.v. and lights. She gets a kick out of "watching" cartoons, and sometimes she will even show a smile or give a little giggle while entranced in all the movements. It is a hoot to watch :) She has recently noticed that she can move her arms and legs in different positions then she had before. For example, she often straightens her legs, as if in a long stretch. She will also do this with her arms, and while doing so, she one day noticed that she had a hand. Only one though; her right. Lol. She will straighten it out, and wave it in front of her face, and look at it as though it is something that is going to eat her alive. I cannot help but to laugh when she gets that crazed look in her eyes...teehee. Since she has become aware that she has hands, she has been reaching out to try and grab things, like her toys, blankets and anything within her reach. She has learned so much over the last couple of weeks even. She has grown so fast. So fast, that it almost makes me want to cry. I cannot help but to take in every little thing she does.
